Das "Thomas Marek Trio" mit Patrick Bebelaar am Piano, Jan Roder am Bass und Thomas Marek am Tap Dance und Schlagzeug präsentiert auf seinem neuen Album ein intensives Hörerlebnis, das die Grenzen von Jazz und Tap Dance neu definiert.
Angesiedelt im Bereich des zeitgenössischen Jazz und der freien Musik, integriert der Tap Dance sich als rein perkussives Instrument und verleiht der Musik eine weitere Klangfarbe.
Kompositionen von Bebelaar sowie klassische Jazzstandards mischen sich mit freien Improvisationen und erschaffen so stimmungsvolle Klanglandschaften, die den Zuhörer auf eine spannende Reise mitnehmen.

Seit über 30 Jahren vereint Thomas Marek in seiner Arbeit traditionelle und moderne Formen des Tap Dance mit zeitgenössischen musikalischen Elementen.
Patrick Bebelaar Piano
Patrick Bebelaar zählt zu Deutschlands renommiertesten Pianisten. Im Jahr 2000 wurde er mit dem Jazzpreis Baden-Württemberg ausgezeichnet und komponierte u.a. im Auftrag der Internationalen Bachakademie.
Jan Roder Bass
Jan Roder gilt als einer der führenden Vertreter der „mittleren“ Generation
improvisatorischer Musik und hat die freie Jazzszene der letzten Jahrzehnte maßgeblich mitgeprägt.
